Summary: replace, max-replacements defaulting to #f but not
                    handled in code
           Product: libraries
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: other
        AssignedTo: bruce at hoult.org
        ReportedBy: jeremy at cowgar.com
                CC: gd-chatter at gwydiondylan.org

No applicable methods in call of {generic function <} when given arguments:
  #[0, #f], at
"strings.dylan", line 948, characters 42 through 76:
               while (bpos + osize <= _end & num-replacements <
max-replacements)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Seems like max-replacements defaults to #f, but trying to compare to an
integer.
