Summary: Open Dylan needs to support arbitrary-precision integers
                    (bignums)
           Product: OpenDylan
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Libraries/Dylan
        AssignedTo: housel at acm.org
        ReportedBy: housel at acm.org
                CC: gd-chatter at gwydiondylan.org

While Gwydion Dylan has always supported the <extended-integer> type, Open
Dylan does not support any integer types beyond <double-integer>, and support
for that is spotty.

Because adding a new subclass of <abstract-integer> requires changes to
dfmc-modeling (and therefore a compiler bootstrap), development of
<extended-integer> support will be done on a separate branch from the current
trunk.
