I think if you're going to modify the book content you should create  
an errata page and at least note them there. I try to hold a very  
hard line against modifying the DRM content, and I only fix minor,  
obvious errors, after documenting them, primarily because we don't  
own that content and the original authors aren't involved in the  
changes.
